This page explains how VibeFit handles images, closet data, profile data, AI analysis, and external APIs at the MVP stage.
In the current MVP, images and closet data are mainly handled in your browser. However, VibeFit may use server-side processing or external APIs when needed for AI analysis or external features.
1. Information we collect or store
VibeFit may handle uploaded images, closet items, profile details, Fit Passport, Style Profile, AI usage counts, and analysis results.
This information is used to show styling suggestions and recreation plans.
2. How images are handled
Uploaded images are first saved and displayed in your browser.
When AI analysis is used, images and related input may be sent to server-side AI processing as needed.
3. Closet and profile data
Closet data and profile information may be stored in browser localStorage or similar browser storage.
Users can use Export / Import to back up or restore browser-only data.
4. Information used for AI analysis
AI analysis may use uploaded images, user notes, selected must-use items, and closet data to generate suggestions.
If the AI usage limit is reached, VibeFit may use a lighter estimate instead of a full AI analysis.
5. External APIs and links
VibeFit may use external services, such as Rakuten APIs, to show product candidates.
When you click an external link, the linked site’s privacy policy and terms apply.
6. localStorage
At the MVP stage, closet data and analysis results may be stored in browser localStorage.
Stored data may be deleted if browser data is cleared, devices are changed, or private browsing is used.
7. Data management
VibeFit does not use your conversations, images, or closet data for the purpose of selling them to advertisers.
Users can manage browser-only data by deleting it or using Export / Import.
8. Future changes
Storage methods, AI processing, external API integrations, and account features may change as the MVP evolves.
